How does your team influence?
Team Influencing Profile (TIP)
A diagnostic tool that reveals how — and how deliberately — your team influences outcomes.
What TIP measures
Each team member completes a short, 5-minute profiling tool on their approach to influence. They receive immediate personalised results, which are then debriefed in a one-on-one session with the facilitator, Bri Williams.
Individual assessment
What's your influencing style?
This isn't about charisma or presentation skills. It's about where and how you shape decisions and thinking — across all the channels you use every day.

Async
Your attention tends to go to content over audience — what to say rather than how it will land.
Responses generate a profile across four dimensions — then plotted as a team to reveal collective patterns and gaps.
Async influence
How intentionally they use email, docs and messaging channels to shape thinking
6.3/10
Sync influence
How deliberately they use meetings, conversations and presentations as influence moments
5.0/10
Influence awareness
Whether they see everyday touchpoints — not just big moments — as influence opportunities
4.8/10
Intentionality
Whether they prepare for the audience's mindset — not just the content — and reflect afterwards
5.8/10
What the team output looks like
The team overview plots every member on two maps and summarises the collective pattern — making gaps visible at a glance.

What you're looking for:
- Clustering — does the team all sit in the same quadrant?
- Gaps — is async or sync systematically low?
- Outliers — who is working very differently from the rest?
- Awareness scores — the most common gap, and the entry point for the debrief.
How it works
1
Complete
Each team member completes the 14-question TIP online. Takes 5 minutes. Results go to the facilitator and back to the individual.
2
Analyse
The facilitator plots the team's scores on the team overview — two scatter maps and four dimension bars reveal the collective pattern at a glance.
3
Debrief
A structured debrief session — with the team, the leader, or both — translates the profile into targeted, practical shifts in how they communicate and influence.
4
Retake
Participants are invited to retake the TIP following a training and coaching program — making growth visible and reinforcing the behaviours that matter.
