Don't use this list
Bri Williams
Behavioural science has identified hundreds of biases and heuristics.
If I had to narrow them down, I’d choose 10 “I.N.F.L.U.E.N.C.E.S.” – the ones that shape our everyday decisions.
I’ve even put them into a snappy 1-page guide for you:

But here’s the thing:
👉 I don’t want you to use it.
Why?
Because a laundry list of principles isn’t the same as influencing action.
On their own, they only give you more questions than answers.
For behavioural science to drive real outcomes, you need to:
-
Clarify your behavioural objective
-
Anticipate and address the three core barriers:
• Apathy (can’t be bothered)
• Confusion (not sure what to do)
• Fear (worried about proceeding)
That’s exactly what my Influencing Action workshop and online course are designed to do. Because whether you’re leading a team, designing customer experiences, or driving change…
A list of principles is interesting.
👉👉 A systematic method to influence action is imperative.
“Bri has distilled critical concepts in Behavioural Science down to ideas and actions you can implement straight away. Magic", says Sharon B about the training her corporate team received.

P.S. Which behavioural bias was I using when telling you NOT to use the list? Hint: It's not on the list!
