Every shower has a learning curve
Bri Williams
Every time you step into a different shower, thereβs a learning curve.
Sure, the objective is the same. Get clean.
And the fundamentals are consistent. Hot + cold + pressure.
Butβ¦
Which way do the taps turn?
Is it a mixer or separate taps?
Is cold on the right, the left, or hidden underneath?
While I used to be annoyed that every hotel and home has a different shower set-up, now I see that each shower has been designed for its specific context.
Designing to influence behaviour is much the same.
The goal is always the same β get someone to do something.
And the fundamentals of behaviour are the same β Apathy. Paralysis. Fear.
But the context changes how you approach it.
And, just like a shower, the more you get used to it, the easier it becomes to get the result you want.
